Every property owner wants their place to be popular, we love that too! If you have listings on other websites, for example, Airbnb, VRBO, HomeAway, and others, you can prevent multiple guests from booking the same dates by syncing your TNH calendar with your other calendars.
To do this you need to import other calendars to TNH and Export your TNH calendar to the other websites. Our Icalendar feature makes this process easy.
How to Import
Calendar importing allows you to manually sync your TNH calendar with external calendars that support the iCalendar (iCal) format. With this, whenever there is a booking on the other website (for example Airbnb), the booked dates reflects on your TNH listing automatically.
- First you need to grab the icalendar URL from the 3rdparty website. For example, here is a what it looks like on Airbnb.
- Next, login on TNH and go toMy Listings
- For the listing you want to import calendars, click on the edit property icon under actions.
- From the property edit screen, click onCalendar (The last multi-step tab)
- Enter a custom name as feed name. For example, Airbnb-Calendar (to help you identify it) You can also have Vrbo-Calendar as a feed name for VRBO etc.
- Copy and paste the Calendar URL you copied from the 3rdparty website into the feed URL field.
- Click Add new feed.
To remove a synced calendar, find the listing and click or tap the trash can icon next to the synced calendar.
Your TNH calendar automatically resyncs every 3 hours, although the frequency of resyncs by your external calendars is determined by their owners (ex: Airbnb, HomeAway or Vrbo). One more thing to note: You can’t pause a synced calendar. If you want to stop, then start back up, you’ll need to remove the calendar, then import it again.
How to export
To export your calendar to other websites, you need to
- go toMy Listings
- For the listing you want to import calendars, click on the edit property icon under actions.
- From the property edit screen, click onCalendar (The last multi-step tab)

Below is a screen capture of the airbnb import feature.
This is where you should paste the URL and airbnb will read the booking data from TNH and synchronize it with their version of the listing’.
With this done, whenever your listing has been booked on TNH, those days will be automatically marked as unavailable for booking on the other websites.
The example below is where you enter your property-calendar URL on Airbnb.
Note: Third-party calendar applications or services can’t exceed 600 sync requests per minute per IP address. More than this will trigger an error, so you’ll need to slow down your calendar requests, spread them out, or retry later.
