2 bedroom furnished suite in Comox, BC

We offer a fully contained suite of the ground floor of our 7 year old house. This suite is not a renovation. Instead, it was built as part of the original plans, and has been fully authorized by the Town of Comox as a secondary suite. We have been listed on Airbnb and VRBO and have maintained Superhost status on both sites for several years. There is a private driveway and private courtyard, with a barbeque.

The suite contains 2 bedrooms with Queen beds, 1 bathroom with tub and shower, new, full-sized laundry, dedicated internet, electric baseboard and propane fireplace heating, and a full kitchen with propane stove, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and coffee maker. We supply lots of utensils and cooking supplies. We also supply a base amount of consumables such as paper towel, dish soap, laundry soap, toilet paper, and coffee filters. Once these are used up guests can purchase their own replacement supplies. At the end of their stay they can bring any purchased supplies with them.

The suite has pails for recycling and garbage pick up.

We provide 3 paid streaming TV channels: Netflix, Sundance NOW, and Acorn. If people have their own private accounts on other channels and an app is available we will help them download the app and sign on.

The front living space has a couch that folds into a double futon bed.

Beach access to Kye Bay is located across the street.

We have arranged in the past (when requested) for guests staying longer term to have mail sent to our box and we have picked it up for them each day.

Our prices vary depending on the time of year and length of stay. Our top summer rates are $250.00 per night with discounts for longer term rentals and our Fall / Winter / Spring monthly rates have been $2500.00 per month. We can discuss rental rates with prospective renters when they apply.
