This unique renovated heritage doctors office is the perfect home base for your visit to the Bulkley Valley! Located in one of the original heritage houses in the heart of downtown Smithers, this living space is completely private with a separate entrance, designated parking spot, and everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. Pull in the driveway to an established veggie and flower garden (which you are welcome to make a salad from) walk into a charming mud room entrance area with space for bikes, sups, shoe area, and coat rack, is equipped with a spin bike and other exercise items. A door open to the main floor, kitchen and living area which features a high ceiling, gas stove, dishwasher and patio doors that open to small bbq deck area. The kitchen is humble but has everything you need to prepare a great meal in. Take the (steep) stairs to the next level where you will find 3-piece bathroom with a quirky walk-in shower, beautiful claw foot tub. There is an office with a futon bed if you would like to have a guest, a standing desk with monitor. The bedroom is quaint and cozy. Tucked in a little back room is a new laundry machine that guests are welcome to use. The home is 100 years old and is normally our primary residence. Therefore the house does have more charm than an average bnb. It feels loved, and not sterile if that makes sense! We are located right downtown so sometimes noise can be a thing. We have a air purifier that acts as a white noise blocker to support sound sleeps. But if your looking to be close to all the breweries and walk to grab coffees in the morning you are in the right place!
